The rechargeable receiver collar has a sleek, compact design with low to high correction levels perfect for all dogs above 5kg.

How a Dog Fence Works
There are 3 main components to a containment fence system; The transmitter, wire and receiver collar.
Transmitter: The transmitter is placed inside your home or garage and plugged into mains power. The transmitter continuously sends a radio signal through the boundary wire.
The Boundary Wire: The boundary wire can either be buried in the ground, attached to any existing fencing, or secured in the ground with fence staples. The boundary wire carries the radio signal around your property, creating two invisible zones; a warning zone and stimulation zone.
Receiver Collar & Stimulation Zones: Your dog's receiver collar communicates with the radio signal emitted from the wire. When your dog approaches the warning zone, the collar delivers audible warning tone to let them know that they're approaching the boundary. If your dog ignores the warning tone and proceeds towards the boundary and into the stimulation zone, the collar will deliver a momentary static stimulation to remind your dog to retreat back into the safe zone.
The End Result: With consistent training, your dog will understand the boundary area and freely roam around the yard without testing the system.

Things To Consider
The only compatible receiver collar for this system is the SportDOG receiver collar SDF-CR-22.
All other PetSafe and SportDOG fence receiver collars are NOT compatible with this system.
The SportDOG transmitter emits an AM signal around the wire. Colorbond/sheet metal and traditional electric fences will affect the AM radio signal of PetSafe and SportDOG containment fences. Keep the fencing wire away from any sheet metal or electrified tapes/wires when setting up the boundary. Alternatively, consider installing the DogWatch Hidden Fence. The DogWatch Hiden Fence is the only fence that emits an FM radio signal that is not affected by Colorbond or electrified wire.
